How do I post my images in the marketplace?

Easy! Select the image from “My Gallery” and choose the options “Post in Marketplace”. Then, choose the name, tags and the price in dollars. After this, your image will be under approval by the admin.


Once I’ve submitted my image to the marketplace, how long will it take before it’s online?

Our admin will be as fast as he can to approve your image.


I’ve uploaded the wrong images by mistake, can I delete them?

You can remove the image from the marketplace, by selecting it and choosing the option “Remove from marketplace”. Or you can delete the image from your gallery and automatically your image will be deleted from the marketplace.



Who owns the copyright to my images on Pixtorage?

You do! You are considered the owner of, and have the right to edit, all of the images you publish on Pixtorage. Also don’t forget that you must either own all right, title and interest in and to the copyrights in the images, or have express permission from the copyright owner to copy and use such images for all purposes related to Pixtorage, and the images may not violate or infringe upon the rights (including other intellectual property rights, privacy, moral or publicity rights) of others. If I sell my images through Pixtorage what commission split do I get?

You will receive what you ask for. The buyer will have to pay a fee of 10% on top of your price, with a minimum of 0,50€.


If I sell my images on Pixtorage, can I sell them in other places too?

We’re non-exclusive so there are no restrictions and you can submit to other photo sites.


What license is applied to my images?

You can see all the information about the license applied to your images and their usage guidelines in the Image License Agreement.



How do I know if I’ve made a sale?

You will receive an email after each sale and you can also check the numbers of sales in each image posted in marketplace.


I’ve seen my photo being used but it hasn’t been reported as a sale?

If you’ve seen an image being used then please let us know by using the “Contact us” link in the menu.


My image has been stolen, what is Pixtorage going to do about it?

If you think your work has been copied in a manner that constitutes copyright infringement, you may notify us using the “Contact Us” link in the help menu. The notification must include all of the following:

  1. a description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
  2. a description of where the material you claim is infringing is located;
  3. your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
  4. a statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
  5. a statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed; and
  6. a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or the person authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.



Will I be paid?

Yes, you will receive what you ask for through your Stripe account.


How and when will I be paid?

To receive your payment you must have a Stripe account. Don’t know what Stripe is? Check out the website.
Stripe will process the debit and the credit card payments for you and 7 days after the transaction you will have the money in your bank account.


In which currency will I be paid?

Stripe supports different currencies, you can see here the ones that are available (group 1 and 2).


How can I update my payment details?

You can update your payment details in your Stripe account.


My payment date is due but I have not received my payment.
